An hour’s drive east from Melbourne, the Yarra Valley is the coolest region of mainland Australia, with volcanic based red and brown soils making cool-climate style wines including fine examples of sparkling wine.

Mornington Peninsula
South of Melbourne and bordered by Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, this maritime-influenced region has a growing reputation for fine Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
